At the time of booking, the full amount is required to be paid.
This amount is refundable up to 15 days prior to the check-in date. In the case of reservations made less than 15 days before the check-in date, the amount is non-refundable.
Payment methods: Bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard).
If payment is made via bank transfer, it will be considered valid for reservation confirmation only if correctly processed within 3 days from the date of booking.
The tourist tax is not included in the payment made on our website, and therefore it will be required in cash upon arrival. The tourist tax is €1.50 per person per day for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights, excluding children under 12 years old. The tourist tax is only due between March 1 and October 31.
Children of all ages are welcome. Children under 4 years old are considered non-paying guests.
The request for a crib is included in the booking price. The crib is provided based on the availability of the facility, which you should check at the time of booking. No extra beds are provided.
Unless otherwise indicated, the costs of linen, energy consumption, and final cleaning are included in the price. Any additional services requested by the customer (such as additional cleaning, extra linen change, firewood for the fireplace, etc.) are not included in the price and therefore have an additional cost, to be paid on-site.
Regarding any services involving external facilities, they must be agreed upon with the management of the facility and authorized by them.
If an extension of the stay is requested, it is sufficient to inform the manager, who, after checking availability, may consent by applying the prices for the requested period.
If a shortening of the stay is desired, we are still forced to request payment for the reserved period.
Since the reservation is confirmed, even in case of price or conditions changes by the facility, the agreed conditions will still be guaranteed to the customer.
Published prices are per night for renting the entire accommodation for the selected period.
By making a reservation through the methods provided on our website, the customer accepts the terms and conditions that will take effect for both the customer and Castello di Montauto soc. semplice soc. agricola.
The customer will receive a booking confirmation from Castello di Montauto soc. semplice soc. agricola electronically.
In case of differences between the data on the booking confirmation and the information on the website, the ones on the booking confirmation will be considered valid.
Any special requests from the customer must be specified in the notes at the time of booking and confirmed by email by Castello di Montauto soc. semplice soc. agricola.
Cancellation of the reservation involves:
If the reservation is made at least 8 days before the check-in date, the 30% deposit required at the time of booking will be retained.
If the reservation is made between 7 days before the check-in date and the check-in day, a penalty of 100% of the stay fee will be applied, and the payment will not be refunded.
Any cancellation must be communicated electronically through the appropriate section in the confirmation email that arrives immediately after the reservation. The date of receipt of the cancellation communication, followed by an email from Castello di Montauto soc. semplice soc. agricola confirming it, will be considered valid.
After making the payment, the customer receives a booking confirmation email specifying the details necessary for check-in and the conditions to be respected.
The customer must adhere to check-in times (from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM), unless accepting specific requests agreed upon with the facility.
Within the check-in hours, the management will accompany the customer to the accommodation, providing useful information and indicating the location and operation of the services provided by the facility (pool opening hours, washing machine location, operation of appliances, etc.).
In the case of arrival requests outside check-in hours, Castello di Montauto soc. semplice soc. agricola will adopt the following conditions:
Request for check-in before 3:00 PM: the facility will only accept the request if the accommodation is already ready. This communication can only take place on the day of check-in, as soon as these conditions arise.
Request for check-in after 6:00 PM: the facility has the right to change the check-in method by adopting the “self-check-in” solution, in which the facility, by phone, provides the necessary instructions to let the customer enter the accommodation. The management will be responsible and available until the customer officially enters the accommodation.
Check-in after 12:00 AM: no refund will be made for the first night.
No refund is provided if the customer does not occupy the apartment from the expected day. If there is a delay, the costs for the unused days will still be charged.
In case of delays compared to the communicated arrival time, the customer must promptly communicate the updated expected time to +39 3403288126, and the management, at its discretion, may set a new appointment according to the conditions specified in the regulations.
The minimum stay for apartments is 3 consecutive nights.
The minimum stay in the Villa is 5 consecutive nights, except from December 1 to January 10, when it is 3 nights.
The tenant undertakes to occupy the accommodation diligently, respecting all the rules of good neighborliness.
Any damage caused by the tenant or other occupants must be immediately reported to the management. The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by himself or other occupants. The same applies if the accommodation, due to the tenant’s negligence, cannot be delivered to the next tenant. The cost of the damage will be assessed by the management and communicated later.
The cost of heating is included in the rental price.
Given the energy supply situation and current laws, the use of heating (ignition period, shutdown, temperature) is regulated by provisions that vary from region to region. Indicatively, heating systems can operate from November to April. Therefore, heating is intended to be available during the same period.
Pets are welcome in all our accommodations. The presence of pets, their species, and size must be communicated by the customer at the time of booking, even if the accommodation description explicitly admits them. The permission is always and only valid for one animal.
Although pets are explicitly allowed, they do not necessarily have full freedom of movement. It is mandatory to keep pets on a leash in all shared areas of the facility. These animals are prohibited from using the pool.
The accommodation description indicates the presence of a pool and its opening period. However, the start and end of the pool’s opening period and opening hours may vary depending on weather conditions.
Crib and extra bed
The facility provides a limited number of cribs (0-4 years). Cribs are subject to availability and must be requested at the time of booking. Bed linen for the crib is included. Bath linen for babies or children under 4 years old is not included.
No extra beds are provided in any way.
The occupancy of the accommodation is limited to the number of people mentioned in the description
(including children over 4 years old). The management will not accept entry if the number of people exceeds the expected one.
If necessary, the owner or his representative reserves the right to access common areas to carry out essential maintenance operations (garden, pool, etc.).
Information regarding services and facilities in the area (transportation, shops, restaurants, wineries, supermarkets, etc.) are provided by third parties, so they may not be constantly updated. Castello di Montauto soc. semplice soc. agricola is not responsible for any changes in schedules and services.
If, before the rental period or during such period, unforeseen or inevitable circumstances prevent the delivery of the leased object, endanger the customer or the owner, and/or compromise the provision of the service to such an extent as to make the execution of the contract impossible, Castello di Montauto soc. agricola soc. semplice will endeavor to find alternative solutions either within the facility or in similar structures.
If, upon arrival or during the stay, the customer discovers damage to the accommodation or substantial differences from what is indicated on the booking confirmation, they can immediately report the problem to the management at +39 3403288126. In case of failure to timely report issues upon arrival or during the stay, the accommodation will be considered free from any problems.
